first scope

first time im commenting on here. Called into opticstar yesterday and purchased a skywatcher 250p skyliner classic,must say customer service was outstanding very helpful. to my surprise it arrived today, was expecting to be at least a week lol. took about 15 mins to build and i didnt think it was this big. absolutely love it will post some pics when i can get a clear sky. more to follow.

Congrats. My 300mm f/5 GSO dob turned up yesterday and I was also surprised at how big it is. I hope you have as much fun with yours as I intend to have with mine. Cheers.

The 250 is a great scope it should show you lots

When you start thinking about eyepiece purchases, which you will , please make a post on the forum so you get some good advice. The scope is fast and it does need some consideration when purchasing eyepiecs for it
