Has anyone come across this lately? http://spaceappschallenge.org/

NASA is trying to organise a world wide collaboration on various issues and ideas over the course of one weekend.

Looking through them quite alot involve creating apps to solve specific problems, some can be entered by other means aswell such as 3D printed objects and 'visualisations'.

What with all the clever people on this site (of which I am not including myself) maybe there is something we could look at tackling.

Just throwing the idea out there, let me know if its a rubbish one :)
