Hi

I am looking to get this cam to use as a finder guider. I was just wondering if anyone had used it as a guider and if its up to the job before i order it?

Do you mean to use in a finder-guider as an autoguider? I've used a colour Atik to guide and didn't find it any different from the mono I also had for guiding, but there is no reason to use a colour camera for guiding. In theory a mono should be somewhat more sensitive.

Thanks Olly, what could possibly make you choose a place in the south of France over Chorley...

I was looking at adding it to an adapter to fit it to the finder scope to help with guiding. I was just checking it was possible with this camera as its a 'cheap' camera.
