March 24, 2013: Panstarrs again

Just back from spotting Panstarrs again. The 15x70 bins picked it out left and slightly higher than alpha Andromedae. My next-door neighbour also got a peek once I set it up on the tripod. He said it looked like it was falling, what with the orientation of the tail. I explained that the tail always pointed away from the Sun. He was very pleased to have seen his first comet.

Well, down here in my part of Cornwall, we haven't had one clear early evening sky to even attempt to see it, so I envy those of you who have.

Best of luck. I had another sighting here tonight, but tomorrow the weather will turn cloudy again. I cannot complain given the sightings I have had.
