One of our regular guests has one. It is an outstandingly fine imaging scope, on a par with the Takahshi FSQ106 though with a smaller imaging circle, I believe. Still, the circle it offers is good and TV describe it as 'excellent' for 35mm format photography. http://www.televue.c...s and Specs.pdf

It has the same downside as the FSQ106 which is needing regular refocusing as it cools, a process which can go on all night.

The images it produces are directly comparable with the FSQs and build quality is pure TeleVue.

Have a look at Pieter 's website featuring many NP101 images. http://www.astronomie.be/pieter.vandevelde/

You might get more respond if you post in the "Discussion - Scope / Whole setup" section rather than Equipment reviews. I don't have any experience with either scope, but I gathered there are two versions of Stellarvue 115. The older models had LZOS objective and is comparable with the TMB/APM LZOS model. The newer ones are made by Kunming United Optics and should be comparable with the Altair Astro model.
