Ep projection astrophotgraphy

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I've got decent at photographing the Orion Nebula, but when it comes to the planets there just isn't enough magnification for me to photograph them, I'd like to know if I decide to use an ep to photograph down will I be able to use any extension tube or will I need to use one suited for my scope? For example could I just go and buy a 40mm tube and the other parts I need and just snap away? Or is abit more specific then that

Regards

Chris

I can't help you with the eyepiece projection, but when you say you've photographed the Orion nebula then moved on to planets, does that mean you're using a DSLR for both? If so, I'd recommend using a webcam for planets, with a 2x or 3x barlow.
