Any surggestions for head upgrade on 8115 horizon tripod

Hi all, I wondered If anyone has fitted a new head to the horizon tripod, to help improve it's alt az.

I find the head has alot of backlash when using my etx90.

I like the ease of the tripod for very quick setup. Can it be improved?

Any thoughts appreciated.
