Canon EOS T-Rings - Movement When Fitted

Recommended Posts

I have just examined the T-Rings that I have for my Canon 350D. About half of them (I have 4) do not fit firmly into the camera and you can move the camera slightly against the T-ring. Its not wear and tear because most of them are new but they did come from different suppliers. This might explain why I have experienced a sudden slight shift in the Canon images but have not noticed this with the Atik 16HR which is a screw fitting.

Hi John

Look on the side of your T ring.

There should be a tiny and i mean tiny screw on it, this just needs tightening.

You will need a jewelers type screwdriver to do the job...

I have done that. Its actually moving slightly against the internal mechanism in the camera. Its definitely ring manufacturing differences.
