eq6 noises when tracking

Hi hope someone can put my mind at rest.

Recently upgraded to synscan on my eq6, And because of broken ring clasps on my 10"OO have been using a 120mm refractor, anyhow now the rings are mended I have placed 10 back on the mount. When tracking it makes the very quiet high pitched pulse noise like normal but there is a lower pulsed noise , I think its just resonance in the larger tube , it tracks perfectly and doesnt bind its just a little louder is that normal and has anyone else experienced it.

I have had the same with the 200p, suprised me but got used to it

Thanks jim , I have reduced it a bit with felt between rings and bar (in last 30mins) , flocking may also help so thats next.

I take it that the hum pulse does'nt affect the image. Its cloudy (surprise) so cant check.
