William optics digital readout focuser

Just been looking at these for a refractor, has anyone used one? Says on the website you need a extension tube for 120mm scopes. Is this just for Astro photography or visual as well?

Had one as a replacement for the original rubbish one on my Megrez 90. DDG focuser was even worse. Display was meaningless, fine focus inoperative and coarse focus rocked up and down. I would NEVER buy another WO telescope.

Oh, that doesn't sound good, do you think it was just a one off?
