After the loss of a yesterday's image due to some experimentation that failed, I've raised the ISO setting for this image from my usual 400 to 800 to try to get a better histogram fill and more dynamic range.

So, 120 frames of 1/1000th @ ISO800 using the 450D and 127 Mak, pre-processed in PIPP and 59 frames stacked in Registax v6.

That looks great James - very crisp, clear capture and a very light touch on the wavelets.

Thank you both. I'm pleased to have got over the temporary blip Sky looks clear at the moment, so I shall be out later planning to get another.
