My first Orion attempt

Finally had the time to get outside (although only 10 mins!) tonight due to other commitments and it was beautifully clear, although light pollution is pretty bad in my back garden. Thought I'd take my 550D out with the tripod and attempt to get Orion.

Not sure what ISO/F Number combo to be using so I basically messed about for a bit and managed to get...

Now i'm very aware that this is basic at best, but i'm pretty pleased that I managed to get anything! Will be attempting to stack the different exposures I've got soon.
