Registar question

I am having a play with Registar on some images of The Rosette taken with a H694 camera, and seperately with a 314L+. I have used a stacked image from each camera, the H694 image being 23Mb from 21 subs; and the 314 stack is 5.6Mb from 16 subs. So far so good. If I set the 694 stack as source and the 314 stack as reference, I get a registered image of 4.4Mb. If I use the opposite, ie the 314 stack as source and 694 as reference, I get a registered image of 8.6Mb.

Where is all the information going? And am I doing something wrong?
