Hi everyone I have just started out and wanted to know if the Baader solar film A4 sheet was the best to use to look at the sun and take some pictures. Will it give a clear/sharp view of the sun

Hi there ,

The Baader film gives lovely crisp views through any scope .

Make sure you get the ND5.0 if you intend to use visually .

You can either buy a sheet of film and make a holder yourself or a ready made holder.

This weeks "Sky at Night" had a good bit with Paul and Pete going through the basics of whitelight viewing

Photo-wise you'll get something like this on of mine from Saturday . .
