iOptron Cube-A ?

Anyone any experience of this little mount ?

Thinking of getting one as a small goto for a couple of refractors.

Would anyone know if the difference between this (Cube-A) and the iOptron Cube-Pro Portable is just the handset. Seem to have the same load capability but the handset of different, the Pro having what seems the more advanced one.

If so is the extra £100 worth it?

Have read the other post here on iOptron mounts just wondering about this specific one if possible.

fair bit of diference between the 2 the cube a has plastic gears the pro has ugraded metal ones

Thanks, that is interesting.

Had assumed only the handset was improved, the metal gears kind of tips me towards the pro variant for the additional £100.

Need to get a look at the two side by side. (Astrofest ?)
