EQdirect cable on nexstar

Hi,

Wondering if I could use my EQdirect cable on my nexstar as I havent bought an R232 converter yet to use the cable came with it.

Also, If i can than do you guys think EQ mod will work?

I just don wanna plug that cable in and destroy the mount as I am just too skeptical at the moment. It has taken all my life savings away from me

using a laptop unless you have a rs232 on it you will need this as well

This cable that you used came with it anyway.. I need to buy a cheap converter for it but was wondering it my eqdirect cable would work with it which is an RJ to USB
