Is this spacing right ???

A few nights ago after what seemed forever I finally got a chance to go out and have a go with all my kit together after doing a nice 3 star alignment I was on my way to what I thought would be my first imaging run the following picture shows how I initially had the camera set up

When I tried to focus there wasn't enought outward travel on my sw ed80 so I removed the camera from the filter wheel and used the camera adapter that came with the sw ed80

Between the camera and filter wheel ,this then allowed me to get focus I have just received an adaptor from modern astronomy which I'm going to use instead of the sw camera adaptor it's a t to 1.25 adaptor this should now allow me the same distance between the filter wheel and camera with the ability of being able to remove the camera from the filter wheel for storage

In theory this should be exactly the same as the sw camera adaptor as the are both the same thickness does this seem logical / right
