finder scope adapter

Recommended Posts

Ordered a 200p explorer and some people have said to get a 90 degree finder scope , to buy a replacement 90 degree 9 x 50mm it's going to cost a minimum of £70..

isnt there an adapter to make the standard straight finder scope a 90 degree one????? like you have on a standard refractor??

if not is it possible or even worth fixing a small cheap refractor on the main scope..

my only reason for fitting a 90 degree is to help me view as soon as i get my scope as i've got a broken ankle and will struggle balancing over the OTA.

failing that any other options (relativley cheap) that can help.
