Cotswold AS are organising three open, free events for Stargazing LIVE.

Jan 18 Minchinhampton

Reservoir on Minchinhampton Common, Minchinhampton

18:00 – 20:00

Members will show views of the moon, Jupiter and the stars through the society’s telescopes

There is no ‘indoor’ event, so if weather is poor event will not take place

Jan 19 Shurdington

Century Hall, Shurdington Social Centre, Shurdington, Cheltenham

18:30 – 21:30

We will be viewing the Moon, Jupiter and the stars from outside Century Hall, with a slideshow, refreshments and warmth indoors. This event will take place whatever the weather.

Jan 20 Twigworth

Nature in Art, Gloucester

18:30 – 20:30

We will be viewing the Moon, Jupiter and the stars through society telescopes. A slideshow and exhibition will also be shown and refreshments will be available. This event will take place whatever the weather.

With the bad weather last weekend, our events got cancelled, but we have now re-arranged, and will be holding open, public Stargazing Live observing evenings in February.
