Tiff nonsense in CS5 and PixInsight

This is really odd and I hope that someone can help.

When I am working on a tiff file in CS5, I can save it and then it saves as a blank tile on the save page. Then when I go into PI and open the tiff image the image is blank. Can anyone help? I don't know what's going on and I like to be able to move between CS and PI.

Are you saving the Alpha channel only, it might be clicked in the save as options.

Ahh, yes!! That's it!! Now how on earth did that happen?!!

Note to self - Make sure Alpha Channel is unchecked!
