Nikon Action 7x50 CF - anyone using these ?

Hi, Thinking about getting a pair of nikon action 7x50 CF binos to replace a pair of 25 year old Tasco 10x50's.

If anyone out there is using the Nikon's for general astro viewing I'd welcome comments.

Looking through various web sites these caught my eye as they offer a large exit pupil (7.1 mm much larger than many others), gas filled body and mullti-layer coatings +++ . I'm not a visual observer but love to scan around the sky while running imaging sessions. Having now moved to a very wet and cloudy Devon I'd like to take advantage of the crisper skies! Although lately they might gather cobwebs like everything else...
