"Astronomy Now" APM/LZOS 152mm review...wrong price!

In the January 2013 issue of Astronomy now magazine, there is an excellent review by Neil English of the brand new APM/LZOS 152mm doublet refractor.

Unfortunately in the spec box at bottom of review the price is given at £6,000.

In actual fact it's only HALF this price.

It's priced at slightly under £3,000 on one UK site.

I myself am very frustrated as I would love one of these but living in a tower block with no transport has put pay to that!

All the best everyone.

Actually I believe the review is the Super ED doublet (http://www.apm-teles...-152-1200d.html) which is around £6,000 as per the review. I got my hands on the review model after it was returned to APM (at the December meeting of the BSIA which APM UK attends each month with a scope) and was stunned by the performance. Jupiter at 300x was mighty impressive. Made me wonder whether I really should have ordered the 7" APM triplet.

There is a cheaper (£3,000) model which is this one. http://www.apm-teles...152-1200ed.html

Clear skies,
