Lately I seem to not have been doing anything that takes time to set up, mostly out of laziness than anything else or just poor timing, I still love looking up and would like a little help in making it fun again.

Install Stellarium onto your PC. That'll give you the aspirational views of an ideal night sky - just like a travel brochure makes you want to go to the places it features. With luck the time spent looking enviously at what you could be seeing for yourself will spur some action

I regularly have dry spells in observing for various reasons. The interest never goes away but small breaks from it renews my enthusiasm to drag the scope out in the cold again. Just go with it and you'll be itching to get back out again
