Al - Good points you made and as my post was made in a more comical sense, it's true that there is no country with all the "good apples" - every one has its ups and downs...in other words, you can run but you can't hide :sad:

Ok, thanks for the input folks. Let's put this one to bed now and get back to business with astro chat. I think we all agree that scopes are significantly cheaper in the US compared to here but there are underlying reasons for this including state benefits.
