As I explained previously, a quick guide to the quality of seeing for me is how much orange glow can be seen over the nearby town.

This was borne out on the 10th when I took this image of Jupiter. Compared to the excellent seeing I got on my last attempt on the 5th, (also shown) the image was OK but no more than that.

Sadly, the former is what I get more of rather than the latter.

Used the same gear and camera on both occasions other than being limited by the conditions to a 3 x Barlow on the 10th.
