Mounting a DSLR on a CG5-GT

What are my options for mounting mycameras and a lens / small WO scope on my CG5? Either directly or on top of my C6. I'm confused by the all the different types.

If you want to mount the camera directly then a cheap way is to get one of these , screw the 1/4" adapter into the small mounting plate that came free with your CG5, then either screw the camera to that or with a small ball head, you can of course spend £20 on a ready made one here (Vixen Style Photo Dovetail)
