Moon 21st Nov through a Spotting Scope

Hi,

Don't know about anyone else but the conditions seemed perfect for moon shots last night, even from a back garden in Sheffield.

Here's my effort

Sorry, should have mentioned the picture was taken using an eyepiece projector with no eyepiece. Strange I know but I have trouble finding infinity when I'm attached to the scope, put an ep in the mix and all sorts of trouble kicks off!

That is really sharp, was it the quality of the camera or the scope do you think that contributed more?

Good question Mountainman. My blog shows pictures I took of the moon in 2010 using the Celestron 80mm scope and a Lumix Compact Camera. The pictures are reasonably sharp but the colouration is out. I'm pretty poor at photo editing so what I take is what you get. So using that rationale I would have to say that the camera is key.
