2" Orion SkyGlow Astrophotography Filter

Purchased one of these filters second hand for £40 off e-bay for use at my light polluted site.

Early results look like it might do what it 'says on the tin' and block a lot of urban skyglow. I took a couple of trial images low down in the orange murk early this moring to see what I could get.

M45 Pleiades 300s single sub ISO800 300mm f4 scope. The blue reflection nebula seems to be coming through.

M65 & M66 Leo 300s single sub ISO800 300mm f4 scope. Again the galaxies are there (just a pity I never focused properly!!)

I need to do a few more trials but looks like it might be a usefull tool for non 'narrow bandable' objects.
