DSS doesnt fit

Hello all,

This is probably a really easy one..... DSS doesnt fit my screen, I cant scroll down and cant see the bottom.

Been like this for ages.........!!

Is your monitor running at the correct resolution? Are you inadvertently running DSS without it maximised?

Yeah, f you can see the title bar, try move the window so you can see a corner. Then resize the window so it's smaller. If you then maximize the window and un-maximize it again it should take on the resized um, size.

No, none of the above. It fits width ways but just extends off the bottom so cant be seen or scrolled to.....

Screen resolution ? Netbook / laptop ? OS ?

Umm not sure of screen res but I have the same issue on laptop with 15" screen and netbook with 10.1, I cant change the resolution on the notebook,

I use a netbook for imaging with a native res of 1024 x 600. Same problem.

I downloaded a small app, Easy Resolution Manager, that changes the res to 1024 x 768.

A few programmes require more than 600.

I can't remember where I got the app from so you'll have to Google it. Sorry.

If it's a Microsoft OS then right click on the desktop then properties then settings to find your screen res.

OK thanks for that, the netbook is 1024x600 and thats the highest, not sure about the laptop but if its a screen res fault then I maybe able to change it.

You can sometimes " Force " screen res change by going into the graphics card properties. Don't leave it like that though because it distorts your images. Worth a try.
