Dew on my Tal 200K

The other night I got everything soggy, including both mirrors of my Newt. so it must have been excesively damp. The Tal dewed up even though the front is open (a la Newt) so I wonder if its worth getting a dew shield or heater of some description? Where would the heater bit go though? The mirror is at the back, so it seems wrong to put a heater round the front as you would with an SCT, but the mirror is not secured to the tube, rather sliding up and down the central tube that the camera points up.

You could try making a dew-shield from black card; if it works then invest in a proper one.
