Well looks like its Sky Safari then, trust It to be one of the most expensive apps, suppose its the same as everything else to do with this astro lark.

Just been on the App Store for sky safari and there's 2. 1 for the phone and 1 for the pad. Will they work on both, as I'm looking to get a pad soon or do I have to buy both?

I have an iPad & an I phone , I had the phone first when I got sky safari pro , I got the iPad later and it downloaded the app to that automatically ,they work on both so you only pay once.

As an aside "Scope Nights" is quite a dinky app that let's you see viewing conditions for your location for the next few days, although mine seems to be stuck on "poor" - cloudy ;-)

Sky Safari Pro on all of my iOS devices, it particularly shines on the iPad. I have the Mac version too. Then again I also have the SkyFi to connect it to my scope. Great support from the software house too. I've tried most of the other apps, Sky Safari gets my vote.

i got a iphone App called scope help, its ideal for me as a beginner, it had a red light, a level tool and some other stuff, FREE App as well

also have solar walk, moon globe, moon rise, planets.

share your apps if you have em
