custom white balance or not?

Hello i have removed the ir-uv filter from my canon 1000d and replaced it with the baader one i also have the astronomik cls clip filter fitted to the camera whitch i only use for astrophotography,do i need to create a custom white balance and if so how do i go about doing this?.

Your camera manual will explain how to do a custom white balance for your model, don't forget to tell DSS to use the custom one or you will have cyan stars.
