M33 RGB

Hi,

Managed to get an hour of H-alpha data last night, intending to add it to my RGB image of M33. However, when added, I was definitely not pleased with the outcome. Not sure if this is because I had previously also used the red channel as luminance- maybe it was wrong to do this and then attempt to add H-a as well. So this is the finished RGB image. Any suggestions welcomed?

It's not bad I think you probably need mare data. You haven't mentioned anything about your equipmrnt or how many subs etc.

Thats a good image with some nice colours.Never done RGB images so cant offer any advice sorry

I think your system is working, Dave. The issue that I see is just noise. This target has a low surface brightness and it simply needs an awful lot of data.
