NGC 6888 - The Crescent Nebula - Cloud hopping .....

This image represented a much greater challenge than it should have done as I had to shoot it in the gaps between the clouds tonight! Oh how I'd love a crystal clear sky to have a real bash at it!!

13 subs of 300 seconds each with my 10" SkyWatcher Reflector and Starlight Xpress SXVF-H9C. Sadly, you can see the mist that the image was shot through but, hey, it was better than watching the television....

Thats come out pretty good Steve, and you have that delicate wispy part as well from the centre out, i would say a good result there , but yes would,nt it be nice to have a clear sky . like we had at Kelling on Sat , imaging would be so much easier.
