Hi Steve and welcome - what are your skies like in IOW?

Thanks for the nice replies. The skies are moderately light polluted where I live as I get the glare from the mainland. However head down to the South and it's a different story with the smaller villages being very dark.

The Isle of Wight star party is held in Brighstone (not been but its meant to be good) which is very dark and gives great views to the South.
