If i order Ron Wodaski's book "The New CCD Astronomy" via Rons website it is $49.95 + shipping so i recon around £35 but from the Uk i am looking at £52 from Amazon.

I also get a online update fron Ron.

Give me a reason why not to get it from the States please as i cant see one.

No reason at all! Could be a different story if Gordon decides to apply VAT to books in the future and the courier applies an "import processing fee"

Hang on, you want a reason NOT to buy from Amazon? :shock: :shock:. Go for it mate, if you're buying directly from the author himself I'd actually pay a little more as the money is going directly to him rather than going to middlemen, but if it's less....
