Lee,

What setting have you for the Bayer matrix?

In DSS, go to Options (on the left hand side)> Settings...> RAW/FITS DDP Settings. In the pop up window, click on the "FITS FIles" tab. Make sure that "Monochrome 16 Bit FITS are RAW..." has a tick mark against it.

Then, in the drop down make sure that you have the correct de-bayer matrix setting. I *think* (though I might be wrong) that the correct setting is "Generic RGGB". Have you got this set correctly?

I can see the Crescent in there, but it's very, very faint. I can see a hint of it in the Blue and Green channel, but I'm not sure that you are using the correct de-Bayer matrix in DSS. Also the tracking is out as the stars are trailing, which wont help.

Lee, if this helps to put your mind at rest about the 10's sensitivity

This was 10 x 10 minute subs on a Tak 60mm refractor.

This thread compares the sensitivity of the QHY10 against the QHY8Pro: http://qhyccd.com/ccdbbs/index.php?PHPSESSID=e1f174d6a41884ebf666279424e5d870&topic=2081.0

I don't think that sensitivity will be your issue.
