2" Filters and the SW F/F for the ED80/100/120

Skywatcher in their wisdom make no provision in the set-up of dedicated F/F and Canon M48 adaptor for the ED80 Pro for use of 2" filters without the considerable expense of Filterwheels.

I just wanted to use a LP filter with mine but having spoken to SW and various retailers got nowhere fast......

So I got together with Graham from Astrotec Ltd in Ipswich ( http://www.astroteclimited.co.uk/) and we came up with a very simple idea to fix the niggle.

I hope this is of use if you've been finding a similar problem. I have the ED80 Pro but the principle works with the ED100 and ED120 as they have the same Focuser tube I believe, and if not it just needs a different O/S diameter sleeve.

Apparently FLO do an adaptor to cover this..... Doh.
