Almost blue moon - my tribute to N Armstrong.

Seeing wasn't great last night here, I was battling against a lot of thermals. Couldn't resist taking this mosaic of the moon though.

21 panes of 200 - 250 frames each (from 750); stacked in registax6 and merged in ICE. Taken with a Philips SPC900 thru a Soligor 152mm; f5 Newt. No processing other than very slight adjustment of wavelets and contrast.

The almost full moon washes out detail a little bit, but is still a fascinating object/subject. Definately my favourite!
