Astrotrac TW3100 Wedge & Celestron CPC 800

Hi all;

I own a Celestron CPC 800 and I want to buy the Wedge for it however I heard that the Celestron Wedge is not very good after using it for a while.

I found somewhere the Astrotrac TW3100 Wedge and I would like to know if anybody knows about it and the compatibility with my scope.

Any advice will be hugely appreciated

I don't know about compatability with the astrotrac - but I have the Celestron wedge (latest model) with a CPC925 and it's absolutely brilliant. Very solid. firm, easy to adjust, and cheaper than the older model which was really not very good. This is the one you want and it will accommodate the CPC800 with ease

I fully agree that the HD PRO Wedge is the way to go for a CPC. Note the wedge is heavy, but that is just what you need for a rock solid setup.
