Mars, Saturn, Spica, Moon Conjunction/Star Trails

Recommended Posts

Here's a quick image I got tonight. Street lights to the west are horrible here, and it was only about 8:30pm when I took this. Single shot, 10 sec. exposure, ISO 400. The star trails were from a week ago from my night sky time-lapse. I used StarStax for Mac to put it together.

Nice picture. Unfortunately in London last night, the cloud did not clear till just after 10pm so we missed this conjunection. Though I did have a great view of both Saturn and Mars last week on their closest approach of 2.6o in the same field of view using a 35mm Panoptic with my 4" refractor.
