Darkest night for a long time!

Hi folks, and sorry if this is considered spam, just wanted to share. Darkest and clearest night for a long long time. 25 x 100 Orion out, and for the first time I managed to clearly find M33. Some other really nice stuff: Never seen M31 so bright and so large, M32 finally very clearly seen as an extended object, M15 sparkling, M57 really clear against the black sky, and then a lot, lot of clusters in Cas and Per. In short: Happy, great star gazing!

We have also had some great nights recently, I think the heavy rain we had has helped, went out just after a thunderstorm and it was the clearest I can remember for this location. I think the rain from thunder storms removes the high altitude dust which reduces LP propagation.
