AR80-AR90 refractors

I am loking information on AR80 or AR90 Optics refractor for wide-field observations of deep sky.

There was a post comparing the AR80 to the ST80 about 2 weeks back.

Maybe the people that posted will add their findngs.

I assume that you refer to the AR80S ?

As I best recall the AR80S was considered better corrected for CA then the ST80.

Cannot comment on the AR90S however would expect it to be a little worse owing to the extra diameter, it being the edges where most problems are created.

They used to have an 80mm at f/7.5, that I would guess be better, that I think is the AR80, which the Opticstar site says is unavailable unfortunately.
