QHY9 & QHY5 Drivers

Hi All,

I've been away from from Astronomy for about 2 years now, and was just wondering which drivers are the best to use for QHY9 & QHY5, Ascom Drivers or QHY Drivers ?? Which give the best results or are the most stable under Window 7 64bit.

It depends on the software you are using for capture i think, many don't support the QHY9 native driver so you will have to use the ASCOM set. I use nebulosity2 and use the native driver for QHY9 capture, PHD for guiding using the ASCOM driver for the QHY5.

Thanks for the reply Martin. I'm using maxim dl & eqascom. For guiding I tend to use maxim / ccd commander so I'll try using the same combination as you.
