Registax 5 only stacking 15 frames

im having some frustration with with Registax 5.

I captured over 15000 frames of Saturn Last night.

But for some reason after aligning Registax is only stack 10 - 15 frames.

Im currently cutting down the avi files , which range from 20sec up to 1min into 10sec clips, in the hope that the shorter video lengths will reduce the amount of movment allowing a better alignment...

am i doing somthing wrong cos ive had much worse quality captures before with better results?

any help will be greatly appreciated

How big is the AVI file? I have never been able to get Registax to handle large files.

You can try stacking with AS!2 (http://www.astrokraai.nl/wp/download/) - highly recommended.

Or you could crop, centre and remove the low quality frames with PIPP (http://sites.google....site/astropipp/) to get the file size down and then try with Registax again.
