Secondary Screws

Tried to fit longer M4 screws into my secondary holder and they will only travel so far, any idea why, I have a GSO Dob

How long are the replacement screws and how far do they screw in?

They're 30mm and went in about 10 . They're flat head screws and I made a thumbed from polymorphic plastic. When I think about it, it might have been when I met resistance the thumbed was slipping around the head. I might try to flatten the screws head and reform the thumbhead to provide more 'grip' for the plastic and try again. They should go in, but I was afraid to force it as I was afraid of burring the thread.

You could try running a nut had up to the head (or even two locked as locknuts) and trying your poly plastic on that.
