Kevdan
Hi All,What drivers do I need to install to run NEQ6 from laptop via stellarium or other programs? I have installed the ascom platform but nothing is happening even though stellarium says its connected.Kev.
Cornelius Varley
You can use Stellarium's own internal driver. When you configure the telescope control select Synscan V3. Peter
Kevdan
I tried that but it didnt seem to want to play, I have downloaded stellarium-scope and set it up which is now working, One question though, When using a programme such as stellarium how do you set up the mounts accuracy, for example if using the Handset it slews to an object then you manualy align it, but if the mount is running through a programme is there any options for alignment. Or is it just the case of using a low power eyepiece and just get it in the field of view but when in the FOV how do you make adjustments? Kev. Kev.Before using Stellarium you need to do a normal star alignment using the handset.Peter
