Yet Another Solar Filter Thread

Finally got round to using up the sheet of Baader film recently purchased from FLO.

The card is from Sainsbury's made-in-store pizzas Comes in 10" and 14" size and is very thick, stiff card (degreased with fairy before use )

4 Filters:

1 for my skymax 150

1 for my next door neighbour's Skywatcher 80ED

2x 50mm finderscope filters

I just need to get some card to make the tubes to fit them to the scopes.

I may even have enough left to make a filter for a camera lens

Woo Hoo! Result!

Completed filters (the other 2 have been delivered to Nick). Managed to get out for 20 mins after work before the cloud/mist hit and this was the result:

Cheers. I'm very pleased how it's come out. It's also one of my first outings with the skymax 150 and I think it's looking good so far.

Looks good I dont think my blue peter everts will be as good good result
