Getting the planets bigger?

Recommended Posts

I've started to get some detail now on Saturn with my Skywatcher Explorer 200P and Philips SPC900NC webcam with a 2x barlow but my next question is, how do I get a bigger image to get some more detail?

This is what I'm getting at the moment:

I know the obvious answer is a bigger barlow but right now I'm having enough issues getting the image on the webcam chip as it is. Would a 3x barlow make a big difference or is there any way to increase image size at time of capture that I'm missing? I'm using SharpCap for the image capture.

Don't take mt word for it as im a newbie but on my xbox webcam i've used an old 35mm film canister to slide into the star diagnol so the webcam is quite far back from the diagnol, I think the distance the camrea is away from the diagnol has an affect on image size?
