SW 200 Dob Mount Points

Hi all

Does anyone know if there is an easy way of re-attaching the mount points onto the SW 200 Dob? I removed them as I was using the scope on an EQ mount but now want to use again on the dob mount.

The only way I can see to do it is to remove the primary mirror and reach up inside to hold the screws in place.

Any help would be appreciated.

You got it in one, you have to get inside the tube so it's either primary off or secondary off and reach in

Thanks Stephen.....which (IYO) is easier to remove and replace (primary or secondary)

Primary, less chance of dropping a screw down the tube onto it then

Use some tape / pen marks to indicate which way it goes in the tube.

It's only 6 screws at the end of the day and the whole thing comes out

Always work on OTA horizontally
